Despite awful timing/coinciding of events on the part of Russia/Georgia, it’s been nice to have some happy, positive, peaceful news from the world these past 2 weeks.

I’ve been meaning to write to tell you that I saw a sign up at a local park a few weeks back, “no soccer or football” with the Spanish translation printed next to it, “no futbol o futbol americano”. Seems our US sports always need a little translation back to the names understood by the entire rest of the world… I’ll try to remember to take a picture next time!
